Birmingham PPA Diwali Celebration
Sunday 26th of October marked a great evening in Birmingham for the local PPA community. The Diwali celebrations were held at the new Pavilion in Aston Park next to the 15th century Aston Hall – an English heritage site.
Those who attended, arrived to a sold-out event and went on to experience a fantastic evening inclusive of fine food, memorable songs accompanied with a special Diwali slideshow and Karaoke program.
Before letting our budding wanna be Lata Mangeskars/Shreeya Goshals / Kumar Shanus and Kishore Kumars loose on the mic, the attendees enjoyed a delicious buffet dinner followed by a community karaoke session – and don’t ever say our members are shy!
Many of the audience sang the night
away to classic hits on a
state-of-the-art sound and projector system.
Local PPA members both young and old commended the evening saying what a great time had been had; a very warm and personal feeling to the evening with everyone taking part in the singing and the celebrations.
The evening was topped off with an exciting raffle prize draw with fabulous prizes which were won by lucky members
A big thanks to everyone who helped make the evening a success! To see, the full selection of pictures of Birmingham’s evening, click here:
